Census training for enumerators, supervisors

DIMAPUR: A six day intensive training programme for Census 2027 commenced at the Shamator District Headquarters on June 8, aimed at equipping enumerators and supervisors with the necessary skills and knowledge for the upcoming national census. The training will conclude on June 13.
According to DIPR report, Deputy Commissioner of Shamator, Arikumba, in his inaugural address emphasized the critical importance of accurate data collection, noting that the census forms the bedrock for future developmental planning and policy making.
Altogether, 165 trainees, including 25 supervisors and 140 enumerators, are participating in the week long training programme.
