A district and block level training program on 6th MI Minor Irrigation Census and Census of Water Bodies was conducted here at the conference hall of Hotel Metsuben on December 6. The training was conducted by the department of Water Resources, Mokokchung Division, and was sponsored by the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India. A brief inaugural session was held before the technical session where executive engineer Er. Lanu of Water Resources department Mokokchung Division delivered the welcome address and highlighted the purpose of the training. The training was attended by all the officers and technical staff from the department, from all block levels.
