Government of India (GoI)’s interlocutor for Naga peace talks, RN Ravi, has been appointed as the Deputy National Security Adviser (Internal Affairs).
Highly places sources informed Nagaland Post that the official order released on Thursday stated that Ravi has been redesignated as “Deputy National Security Adviser (Internal Affairs) and as Interlocutor of Government of India in Nagaland”. The Committee has also approved that the other responsibilities of Ravi as ‘Interlocutor of Government of India in Nagaland’.
Source further disclosed that Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC) of which Ravi is the incumbent chairman has been subsumed by deputy NSA office.
