Centre releases Rs.7.5 cr for state

As per the recommendation of the 13th Finance Commission of India, a grant of Rs.5 crore was released to Nagaland for District Innovation Fund on March 26.
Further, on March 29 as per the 13th FCI recommendation, Rs.2.5 crore was released as grant to Nagaland for setting up a Database Scheme for government employees and pensioners.
Sources said the term of the 13th FCI expires on March 31 after which the next 14th FCI would take effect from April 1,2015.
