CEO holds meeting with political parties

Chief electoral officer (CEO) Nagaland, V. Shashank Shekhar convened a state level meeting with political parties in the office chamber of the CEO with regard to Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls, on Monday.
In a press release, CEO’s office stated that during the meeting, CEO and his team of officers apprised the members of the political parties on the Amendment of Election Laws, application of Forms 6,7,8 and new Form 6B relating to voluntary linking of Aadhar with EPIC.
The members were also apprised on appointment of Booth Level Agent (BLA) in every polling station and four qualifying dates—January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1 for special summary revision 2022-2023.
The draft E-Roll will be published on November 9, 2022. The meeting was also attended additional CEO Ruokuovituo Khezhie, joint CEO Awa Lorin deputy CEOs R Mhathung and Alila Chang
