In view of the forthcoming general election, chief electoral officer (CEO) Nagaland, V. Shashank Shekhar has informed that a “face to face training programme for deputy commissioners (DCs) and district election officers (DEOs) in Nagaland” will be conducted on June 29 and 30 in the conference hall of commissioner office, Nagaland.
In a press release, CEO informed that the training will be imparted by nine resource persons from India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM)/Election Commission of India.
Topics will include:- law & order, Media Certification and Monitoring Committee & paid news, District Election Management Plan/Booth Level Election Management Plan, vulnerability mapping, IT applications, SVEEP, Model Code of Conduct, expenditure monitoring and accounts on election expenditure.
