Couples For Christ (CFC) Nagaland, the state chapter of an international organization, held a National Conference “Echoed” under the theme “Solemn Charge” on April 14 at Cathedral Kohima.
Rev. Fr. Lawrence Khing, director NCYM was the main celebrant for the Holy Eucharist Mass. The 1st session “The Gift Within Us” was held with Chito Dela Cruz anchored on 2 Timothy 1:6, (NRSV); the 2nd session “Called and Chosen” was held with Steve Maningat, anchored on the verse 2 Timothy 4:1; the 3rd session “Proclaim the Word” by Cesar Cardenas, was anchored on the verse 2 Timothy 4: 2-4; the 4th session was with Alfred Alejo and the session expounded on 2 Timothy 4:5; the 5th session “Fulfill Your Ministry!” was with Cesar Cardenas on 2 Timothy 4:5. Closing remarks were given by Brother Steve.
According to CFC Nagaland, chapter head & state coordinator, Mengukhrietuo Marcus, National Conference (NatCon) is a retreat held yearly. This sets the tone for the year or CFC directions for the year. The NatCon Retreat allows people to hear the Lord’s message on what He wants us to do or achieve for the given year through themes inspired by verses that the Lord gives.
