Chakhesang CRC Graham–DBS Road new church building dedicated

DIMAPUR:

The new church building of Chakhesang Christian Revival Church (CRC) Billy Graham–DBS Road, Kohima, was dedicated on Sunday in a solemn service at the church premises.
The monolith stone unveiling was led by Rev. Senuto Ringa, executive secretary, NCRCCC, while the dedicatory service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Vevozo Khamo, pastor of the church. The local congregation presented a choral offering.
Delivering the sermon, Rev. Zaseyi Veswuh, president of the Nagaland Christian Revival Church Council Chakhesang (NCRCCC), emphasized faith in God, citing Psalms 118:8–9. He reminded members that while infrastructure is important, it is the lives of believers—marked by godly love, humility and faith—that truly reflect God’s glory. He urged the congregation to make the church a place of prayer, commitment and spiritual growth, and to remain grateful for God’s promises fulfilled through the sacrifices and contributions of members.
Pastor Sapi Puro, president of the Pastors and Deacons Association, CCRC, extended greetings and acknowledged the support of well-wishers and contributors. Treasurer of the Church Development Board (CDB), Kropayi Dawhuo, shared the history of the fellowship, noting its beginnings in October 2014 at the residence of Kuhusayi Nyekha, its subsequent shifts to various locations, and its recognition as a full-fledged congregation on October 23, 2022.
The programme also featured a welcome address by Lhoupekha Thasou, chairman of the CDB, scripture readings by pastors Müdokhoyi Tünyi and Ngopelo Koza, and special choral presentations by CCRC Upper PWD Kohima and CCRC Kohima. The service was led by Church advisor Kuhusayi Nyekha, with invocation by Rev. Zhowhüyi Nyekha, senior pastor, CCRC Upper PWD, Kohima, and offertory prayer by Women Pastor Savino Thasou.
