Charis High Academy student wins Best Debater title

DIMAPUR: Charis High Academy student, Cyndina Thonglaru of Class 10, was adjudged Best Debater at the Young Indians Parliament Competition held at Norman Putsure College on June 19. The event was organised by Young Indians under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
In addition, Class 9 student Kechyeyhun Chiesotsu, along with Cyndina Thonglaru, has been selected to represent Charis High Academy at the regional level competition scheduled to be held in Guwahati.
The competition brought together six schools — North Town Higher Secondary School, Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Greenwood Higher Secondary School, Hebron Higher Secondary School and Charis High Academy. Altogether 59 students participated, engaging in parliamentary discussions and debates on the theme “Tourism Led Economic Development.”
The school congratulated both students for their outstanding performance and extended best wishes as they prepare to compete at the regional level.
