Charity concert for displaced citizens of Mnp in Kma on Aug 5

Last Day on Earth in collaboration with Young Tribal Women’s Network (YTWN) is all set to organise “Last Day on Earth: A Concert of Hope”, a charitable concert on August 5, from 5 pm onwards at Imagi.Land Kisama, Kohima.


The entry for the concert will be free of cost. Before leaving the concert, attendees will be encouraged to make a free will donation to help others in their everyday lives.


The amount received from donations and sponsors will directly benefit the displaced people under the umbrella of partner organization, Young Tribal Women’s Network (YTWN), which is a community-led initiative of women from Manipur and the neighbouring states, and out of the Northeast as well.
The main objective of this concert is to raise funds and create awareness for individuals and communities in need. By acknowledging the trauma inflicted by the recent bad times, it strives to provide support, resources and assistance to those who desperately require it.


In an effort to alleviate pain and make a positive impact, the concert is a charitable concert aimed at bringing together people from all walks of life to express compassion, solidarity and unwavering support for those who are facing challenging times.


A total of 11 artistes are lined-up for the concert including: Virie, Jonathan Angami, Kivito Achumi, Worngam, Pezo Kronu, Akhrieze, Pelenuo, Kekhrie Ringa, Keneisenuo Sorhie, Fatal Attraction and Abdon Mech.


It may be mentioned that YTWN was founded in early May, a few days after violence had erupted in Manipur, network’s core team consists of 15 people and it is an ever-growing body with overall of 30 members.


The concert highlights include a diverse line-up of renowned musicians representing a wide array of genres, merging their talents to deliver unique and captivating performances at the same time symbolize the significance of merging different perspectives to create a united front against suffering. This initiative seeks to ensure that the impact of the concert has a lasting effect, extending beyond the event itself.
