Minister of rural development and REPA, CL. John on December 21 inaugurated Chenloisho Wangto village under Mon district.
A report from DIPR said, that the minister after inaugurating the village called for unity and invited other clans to settle in the village. He also thanked the villagers for the unity and leadership.
Guest of honour, Angh of Chenmoho Village, Yemwang urged the villagers to live up to expectations in order to move forward.
Shaboh, ex- MLA, also thanked all the elders who initiated and worked hard for the village. SDO (Civil) Chen urged the villagers to start their journey with unity and understanding for smooth functioning of the village/society. Manching from DRDA also encouraged the people to utilise the government funds properly. KU vice president, Wangmao Ahng of Chenloisho village and Khotai Chenmoho also delivered short speeches.
Earlier, the monolith was dedicated by executive secretary KBBB Rev. Chemyuh Konyak. Welcome address was delivered by N. Nokkhah village council chairman Chenloisho.
The minister also inaugurated local ground of Chenloisho Wangto village constructed under BADP 2014 – 15, road connectivity from Chenloisho to International Border constructed under BADP 2014 – 2015, Government Primary School Building Chenloisho Wangto village constructed under (BADP) 2017 – 2018, Government Primary School building Chenloisho Hozu constructed under SSA 2013 – 2014, Angh Residence of Chenloisho Hozu. He also released a local album with the title “Lolih Wang Song” Vol. 3, by Waan Pan Club Chenloisho.
