Chessore Area Public Forum (CAPF) under the theme, “Unity in progress” held a general session on January 8, with S Keoshu Sangphur as chief guest.
A press release by CAPF stated that, Sangphur in his speech expressed gratitude for unity and vision of the organisation and the people of the area. He also appreciated the way of living and standard, even though the area was underdeveloped.
Head GB Chessore Village Council, Throngkiuba and GB president (Chessore Area GB’s Federation) Hollen exhorted about the sincerity, co-operation and development of the area. Advocate notary public Tuensang L. Chuba and advisor of the CAPF assured the people to extend a helping hand for the area in all possible ways. Chessore Town GB’s Union and Chessore Village Council presented songs.
Earlier, programme was chaired by vice president K. Keoshu, invocation by Chessore Town Baptist Church (CTBC) pastor Tokimong and Chessore Village Cultural Club presented cultural dance.
