Chiechama VC bans dumping along roads and footpaths

DIMAPUR

Village Council Chiechama (VCC) has issued a strict warning against the dumping of waste and garbage along the National Highway, public roads and footpaths within Chiechama Village jurisdiction.
In a press release, VCC chairman Mhalezolie Metha and press secretary Kevineisa Metha stated that such activities pose serious risks to public health and the environment and are banned with immediate effect.
The council further cautioned that offenders will face punishment or fines as per decisions taken by the Village Council from time to time.
