Child Aadhaar enrolment camp

DIMAPUR: Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Nagaland will organise Child Aadhaar Enrolment Camps for children aged 0–5 years from August 3 to 14, 2026 at the Directorate office in Kohima and at District Economics and Statistics Offices (DESOs) across the state.
The initiative, linked with Aadhaar based Birth Registration, aims to ensure that every child is registered at birth and connected to Aadhaar. Early enrolment in the national identity system will enable inclusion in government services and welfare schemes, while supporting better planning and delivery of child centric programmes. The Department has requested parents and legal guardians of eligible children to enrol their wards by visiting the designated centres at the Directorate and DESOs.
