‘Child safety and health camp’ at GMS Old Showuba

GMS Old Showuba School Safety Committee in collaboration with CHILDLINE Dimapur and Prodigal’s Home Dimapur organised a “Child Safety and Health Camp” at the school premises on Wednesday.
In a press release, School safety committee coordinator, Sungtemmenla Aier (G/T) informed that the objective of the programme was to create awareness among the children about various measures on child safety. The programme also conducted a health camp where the children were attended to by a medical team from Civil Hospital, Dimapur headed by Dr. Sentilong.
The programme was chaired by Sungtemmenla Aier and a welcome note was delivered by SMC chairman, Ajila Kiry. Earlier, an awareness on child safety was presented by CHILDLINE Dimapur and Prodigal’s Home Dimapur.
At the health camp, around 100 students availed healthcare services and free medicines were also provided.
