Childline Dimapur has issued a final call to claim two children who were rescued and currently under the care and protection of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Dimapur. In a press release, Childline Dimapur informed that Madan age about four years was rescued on December 20, 2021 near the Pantaloons Showroom and an unknown female child aged about two-three years was rescued from near Rail Bazar Dimapur on June 20, 2022. Despite repeated information in the local dailies, Childline said nobody has come forward to claim the children.
The Childline Dimapur has asked child parents / relatives / guardians /community or any concern citizen having information about those two children to come and claim within the period of 30 days from the date of publication of information, failing which the children would be declared legally free for adoption.
