Loyem Memorial High School Tuensang celebrated Children’s Day at its school premise with Retd. dy SP, S. Ato as special guest. Speaking on the occasion, Ato emphasized on the importance of time management in student’s life and asked them to use their judiciously. During the entertainment programme, school principal Debashis Deb also presented dance.
The programme was chaired by assistant teacher I.S. Alongla while invocation was pronounced by assistant teacher S Angmak Sangtam.
Meanwhile, the Hindu community Tuensang also celebrated Children’s Day at Hindu Temple premises with senior teacher Hari Prasad Gupta, as chief guest. The programme was chaired by Binoy Gupta. In his key note address principal LMHS, Debashish Deb exhorted the children’s to read good books and nurture good thought. The celebration ended with light refreshment and distributions of gifts to the children.
