Advisor of Geology and Mining, DUDA, W. Chingang Konyak, inaugurated two department weigh bridges constructed by the Directorate of Geology and Mining on March 18.
During a short programme held at Chungtiayimsen village, Konyak inaugurated Longtho -Tsutapela Weigh Bridge located at Chungtiayimsen, Mokokchung and at the same time he virtually inaugurated Tiru-Sinphan Weigh Bridge located at Tiru, Mon on March 18.
In his speech, he lauded the department on successfully completing the installation of the weigh bridge, which will tremendously help the coal business community of the area. He encouraged the local citizens, the landowners and the village council to judiciously utilise the weigh bridge facility and help the department in the overall upkeep and maintenance of the weigh bridge. The inauguration programme was attended by the concerned village council members and stakeholders.
