Chingkela Sangtam was crowned “Miss Kiphire 2022” during the event held at Kiphire local ground on Saturday organised by MERAKI entertainment Nagaland, which was organised after a gap of 15 years. The event with 10,000 audience was graced by Traders Cell Convenor, BJP Nagaland, Kyüpise Sangtam, as the special guest.
Pisala Sangtam bagged the title of 1st runners-up while Azila Sangtam was adjudged as second runners-up. The winner walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- along with gift hampers. The 1st runners-up received a cash prize of Rs. 30,000/- with gift hampers, while the 2nd runners-up received a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/- along with gift hampers. All the gift hampers for the winners and subtitle winners were sponsored by Lisu Care Pure and Natural.
The sub title winners are -Ethic Wear: Thingpila Sangtam; Best Walk: Seola Sangtam; Best Model: Chingkela Sangtam; Miss Popularity: Azila Sangtam; Miss Personality: Leishnao Tikhir; Miss Multimedia: Thingpila Sangtam and Viewers Choice: Seola Sangtam.
14 contestants vied for the title “Miss Kiphire 2022” where Sanjeev Tamang groomed, mentored and choreographed the event, with Ralan Patton as the contestant manager. The event was hosted by Imnasenla Rachel and Tsase Annar. Moko Koza performed as guest artist. The show also had three local artists namely, Khulong Sangtam, Tsasela and Modern girls. Dreamz Unlimited made a special appearance in the show.
The 14 contestants competed in 3 different rounds namely modern ethnic wear round, casual round and evening gown round.
The designer of the event was IWSN Training Centre Dimapur. It was judged by a panel of three judges: VLCC Femina Miss India Nagaland 2022, Lovi Awomi, vice president Ladies Club Kiphire, Likhumla and assistant professor ZPGC Kiphire, Longtise.
