A coordination meeting of the Chozuba Sub-division was held on May 27 at DB’s Court, Chozuba, under the chairpersonship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Dr. Diana Patton.
During the meeting, Dr. Patton highlighted the importance of enhancing the natural beauty of Chozuba town to attract visitors and promote sustainable development. Noting the region’s favorable topography, she encouraged tree plantation drives—particularly cherry trees—to enrich the town’s landscape. She also appealed to the public to contribute bamboo for fencing the planted trees.
Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC), Dr. Cthitu Nienu, presented the work distribution plan for a mass social work scheduled for June 5, starting at 8:00 AM. The initiative aims to foster community involvement in maintaining and improving the town’s cleanliness and aesthetics. The meeting was attended by government officials, representatives from NGOs, educational institutions, and local business establishments
