Chozubami citizens’ day celebrated

Chozubami Citizens’ Day was organized under the umbrella of Chozubami Razüve Hoho on January 27 and 28, 2023 at Chozuba Village Ground.
The two-day mega event, a conglomeration of census data collection and cultural display, was attended by all the Chozubami residing within and outside village.
The celebration filled with traditional display of folk dances, songs and games.
The introductory service was graced by NBCC general secretary, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, as the main speaker, wherein he spoke on knowing God and a contented life in God.
Commissioner and Secretary, Rural Development, Neposo Thelüo was the special guest of the cultural day.
In his speech he encouraged the community to preserve their culture.
Thüluo said villages were the base of Naga society where the people could find their true identity.
The day was marked with various cultural items including, games, dances and songs and a common feast.
