This year’s event was especially significant as it marked the Centenary Jubilee of SBCK. He encouraged the congregation to receive Jesus’ love, live it out daily, and shine like stars, spreading the message of the Gospel.
In his speech, chairman of the Centenary Planning Board SBCK, Y Kikheto Sema highlighted the unmatched sacrifice of Jesus Christ, quoting John 3:16. He prayed for peace, joy, and reconciliation within the Sumi community and urged greater unity among all Naga tribes. T
he Christmas celebration included a combined choir performance, with choirs from SABCK, NCRC, and SBCK, as well as musical presentations by the Harmonica Brothers and a special Combined Choir led by music director James S. Swu.
Over 5,000 people from the three congregations attended the service and enjoyed a shared Christmas feast.
