CHS and CHYN visit Galilee home

Chümoukedima Hindu Society (CHS) in coordination with Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland (CHYN) visited Galilee Home, Chümoukedima on December 25 and shared the joy of Christmas with the children. A press release by CHS stated that during the programme, working president of CHS Pintu M Ghosh and chief advisor, CHYN greeted the children and shared happiness to be with them on such an occasion. He stressed that such moment of time imbibed everyone in true spirit and created room to spread the message of peace and love. Wife of director, Galilee Home, Fanny Shitiri deliberated on the significance of Christmas and shared that it was God’s blessing that her husband and herself could overcome the struggles to establish the Home for the destitute children. 

CHYN president, Raj Kumar Das expressed happiness to be with the children to celebrate the occasion and that the society was willing to extend any help at its capacity. Earlier, the programme was chaired by CHYN joint secretary, Rahul Das and the vote of thanks was delivered by Nandini Burman.
