CHS & CHYN conduct sanitization programme

In view of the impending COVID-19, the Chümoukedima Hindu Society (CHS) in coordination with Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland (CHYN) conducted a sensitisation programme on March 27,  under the supervision of Thejavizo Nakhro, EAC-cum-administrator of Chümoukedima Town Council and his staff.

A press release from CHS stated that, the programme covered mostly the public places from the 2nd gate junction to the 7th Mile, Daily Market area, Jame Masjid, Chümoukedima Police Station and its surroundings. However, on the public request some of their houses were also covered. The programme was conducted by a team of 10 members properly equipped with masks, gloves and others.
This is a small step towards the cause of humanity for maintaining hygienic conditions in protecting and preventing the risk of getting infection from the disease. This is the first phase of sanitization and CHS would come up more with such relevant actions as situation demands. The team was led by Kishan Sharma, president and Pintu M Ghosh, working president of Chümoukedima Hindu Society.
