Chuchuyimlang becomes first HiEERA village

Chuchuyimlang has been recognized as the first Empretec-HiEERA village in India for having subscribed to the Empretec-HiEERA Methodology and United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) roster of good business linkage practices towards the attainment of the United Nations’ sustainable development goals 2030.


The recognition certificate was awarded to the village council chairman, Ao Sanen Pongen at the ongoing 8th World Investment Forum (WIF) at Abu Dhabi on October 19, 2023. The award was handed over by Small Industries Development Bank of India chief general manager Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya and Empretec India Foundation national director Arnab Chakrabortty.


A seven-member delegation from Nagaland is attending World Investment Forum including Ao Sanen Pongen, Dr Patu K Zeliang, Paul Lokhu, Alemjungla Jamir, Caroline Sahnamai Paul, Wangshikokla Jamir, Lieut Col Joy Choudhury (Veteran). A total of 8000 delegates are attending the WIF from across the world.


The Empretec India Foundation in collaboration with the department of Industries and Commerce, government of Nagaland and the Small Industries Development Bank of India facilitated the seven delegates from Nagaland to attend the World Investment Forum.
