At the Nagaland Cricket Ground, opting to field first after winning the toss, Chümoukedima’s bowlers displayed finesse, restricting Dimapur to a modest total of 97 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Jonathan Rongsen’s stellar unbeaten knock of 53 runs led Chümoukedima’s chase as they comfortably reached the target with 9 wickets in hand, securing a spot in the final.
Meanwhile, at Sovima Cricket Ground, Niuland, batting first, posted a competitive total of 102 runs for the loss of 9 wickets, with Vayu Haralu contributing a crucial 24 runs. In response, Kohima struggled to counter Niuland’s bowling attack, falling short of the target by 48 runs. Monu Kumar’s impressive bowling performance, claiming 3 wickets for just 9 runs, proved decisive in Niuland’s victory.
