Chümoukedima Town Youth Club wins 3rd CDFA Futsal Tournament

DIMAPUR, MAY 25 (NPN): The Chümoukedima Town Youth Club (CTYC) emerged champions of the 3rd CDFA Futsal Tournament, organised by the Chümoukedima District Football Association (CDFA), at Nova Futsal Ground on May 25.
A total of five teams participated in the one-day competition, which concluded with a thrilling final between CTYC and Medziphema FC. CTYC sealed the title with a convincing 5-2 victory, showcasing dominance and teamwork throughout the match.
The final match was graced by District Sports Officer of Chümoukedima, Watsutho Nyuthe, who encouraged the players and applauded the organisers for promoting futsal in the district.
The tournament carried a total prize money of Rs. 40,000, sponsored by M/s Reima Enterprise. With this victory, CTYC earned the honour of representing Chümoukedima district in the upcoming Nagaland Futsal Club Tournament 2026, further strengthening their reputation as one of the leading futsal sides in the region.
