Pastor and staff of Neighbourhood Hindi Church, Midland here have expressed their gratitude to West Police Station for its prompt and swift response in cracking the case of attack on the church on Sunday afternoon by a youth.
According to pastor Rev Daniel Shayan, the police on Tuesday morning were able to trace the culprit, who confessed to the act in the presence of his father, officer in-charge of West Police Station and him.
Rev Shayan said the culprit was mentally not sound and had carried out the act with no clear motive. After reviewing his mental health and history, the church decided withdraw the case as the father of the culprit agreed to bear all repair expenses, he added. Rev Shayan expressed gratitude to all those who had extended their help and support.
