Two welcome gates, established under the aegis of the Churches Colony Welfare Board (CCWB) were inaugurated separately by N. Ghoshito Achumi, Goan Bura (GB) and Kuholy Chishi, council chairperson, Churches Colony on April 19.
A press release by CCWB secretary, Paul Vitsu stated that a small function was held before the ribbon cutting ceremony, wherein the convenor of CCWB Omega G Naga shared about how these gates could finally be built. He said that this was the long cherished dream of the colony people. He also thanked all those who were involved directly or indirectly, and the business establishments under the colony who had contributed generously towards this project.
