Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Nagaland organized one-day farmers’ training on post-harvest management and packaging technology of pineapple, at Molvom village, on December 19. A press release by Central Institute of Horticulture informed that the training was organized with the objective to provide technical knowledge for maintaining quality of pineapples through various post-harvest operations and packaging methods.
The release added that resource persons of the training were Marketing Specialist, Central Institute of Horticulture , Prabin Das, and Asst. Horticulture Specialist, CIH, Moasosang Longkumer. Altogether, 71 participants comprising of pineapple growers and FPC members from Molvom village attended and interacted with the experts during the training programme.
