CIH organized training on horticulture

Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Nagaland organized a day-long farmers’ training on production technology and post-harvest management of horticulture crops at Tening Namsan village under Peren district on September 29.


According to director CIH, the training was organized to provide technical support in cultivation and post-harvest management of important horticulture crops in the region. Technical experts of the institute, Asst. Horticulture Specialist Dr. Moasosang Longkumer, and senior Technical Assistant Hasizotuo trained the farmers on improved management practices horticulture crops like king chilli, pineapple and citrus crops. Altogether, 50 farmers participated and interacted with the experts at the training programme.
