Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH) Nagaland has successfully conducted three months certificate course on Post Harvest Management & Value Addition of Horticultural Crops (PHM&VAHC) from October 26-January 27.
In a press release, Central Institute of Horticulture said a brief certificate distribution programme was organized on January 29 where Central Institute of Horticulture director Dr. Lallan Ram encouraged the trainees to utilize the skills which were imparted through the course and contribute towards horticulture development in north east states.
Altogether 21 trainees from three states of North East (Manipur, Meghalaya and Nagaland) were trained during the course.
The trainees also underwent 15 days internship programme at IICPT, regional centre, Guwahati and AAU, Jorhat Assam.
