Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Nagaland State Council has expressed shock over the demise of Yashitsungba Ao on April 3.
A condolence note from CII-Nagaland state council, Neichute Doulo opined that late Yashitsungba had revolutionized entrepreneurship in Nagaland, at a time when locals considered the profession an alien activity and unfit for the natives. It said that he had acted as a role model in the field of entrepreneurship for many and mentored many more. Such contribution by a self taught and self made personality needed to be acknowledged and celebrated, it said. Late Yashitsungba is not just an individual but an institution in the truest sense of that word, it added. CII also stated that his role as a dedicated entrepreneur would be very rare to find among the contemporary Naga entrepreneurs.
CII Nagaland state council extended its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and further prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
