Department of Posts, North East circle, has informed that the circle level “dak adalat” will be held in the office of the chief postmaster general, NE circle, Shillong on September 26, 11 am.
The department has informed that the dak adalat will be entertaining grievances pertaining to postal services.
Written complaints may be sent through ordinary post or speed spot with subject “dak Adalat” superscribed on the cover, addressed to the chief postmaster general, NE circle, Shillong-793001.
The complaints should contain full details such as complete address and registration receipt number, etc. For complaints on savings schemes and post life insurances, account number, policy number and full address of the depositor/insurer should be given.
Written complaints should be sent on or before September 20. Complaints, if any, received after said period will be redressed through the usual channel. Complaints can also be sent to the email address at pg.ne@indiapost.gov.in.
