Circular Road inaugurated at Forest Ward, Kiphire

The prayer and inauguration of the Circular-cum-Officers’ Compound road at Forest Ward, Kiphire, was held on March 31 with L. Longdiba Sangtam, ADC and Administrator, Kiphire Town Council, as the special guest.
Congratulating the road construction team led by convener Island Peace Yangthsaba and ward members, Sangtam emphasized the importance of roads in daily life and assured all possible support for future development.
He lauded the community’s participation in developmental activities and encouraged more such initiatives.
Yangthsaba, in his address, shared the challenges faced during construction and stressed the need for government support in maintaining the road through proper allocation of works.
The initiative was undertaken to ease inconveniences faced by students, patients, the elderly, and in the transportation of construction materials and other essentials.
