CISF DIG inspects unit at DHEP Doyang

Deputy inspector general (DIG), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) North East Zone (NEZ) Guwahati, Siddhartha Sankar Sarmah visited the CISF unit Doyang Hydro Electric Project (DHEP) Doyang, Wokha on August 24.

According to a CISF statement, during the visit the DIG Sarmah held a meeting with the DHEP head of the project and deliberated on the issues regarding intervention of the management to improve the establishment.

He visited all duty posts of CISF unit DHEP Doyang and interacted with the CISF jawans. 

Sarmah encouraged the jawans to be actively involved in the community outreach programmes undertaken by the unit. 

He also inspected the sapling plantation site maintain by the unit. 

The DIG also inaugurated two canteens sanrakshika and wet canteen and multipurpose gym. He also participated in a community soccer and badminton match organised by the unit where surrounding villages participated at the exhibition match. 

He was accompanied by Group Commandant, CISF Group HQ Guwahati, Harendra Narayan.
