Citizens undertake road repair work in Zbto, Wka

Citizens in Wokha’s Tsumang ‘B’ colony (Ground Kup sector) and Zunheboto Area Public Organisation (ZAPO) in collaboration with the Madhucon Projects Ltd. carried out cleanliness drive and road repair work under their respective jurisdictions.

ZAPO: Zunheboto Area Public Organisation (ZAPO) in collaboration with the Madhucon firm, carried out repair work of the deplorable road in Zunheboto town area stretching from Amiphoto colony to Laghilato colony (around 03 km) from August 24 to 29, ZAPO media cell stated. 

ZAPO urged the state government and the concern department to look into matter before the road turns into a river bank-like road condition, which will affect all commuters in the district headquarter. While thanking the deputy commissioner Zunheboto for his enthusiasm towards the development, ZAPO also expressed gratitude to the Fire department, Traffic Police, PWD (R&B), PWD (Mech) and all who had assisted. 

Further, ZAPO affirmed that it will continue to assist in the developmental and public welfare activities in Zunheboto.

Wokha: In a press note, Tsumang ‘B’ colony media in-charge, Yanrenthung J Humtsoe said that around 62 volunteers Saturday carried out cleanliness cum road repair work under its jurisdiction in the presence of colony council and GBs. 

While encouraging the volunteers, the council chairman stated that amid the COVID pandemic, it was the fundamental right of every citizen to have good roads and clean surrounding. He also urged the volunteers to be responsible citizens and continue to contribute for the welfare of the society.
