Citizens’ Welfare Society launched at Kiphire

Deputy commissioner, Kiphire, Sedevikho Khro Friday official launched Citizens’ Welfare Society (CWS) at its treasurer’s residence Kiphire Town. 
Lauding the acronym of its nomenclature, DC asked the CWS members to work according to the sweetness of its nomenclature. He said that if someone was doing good things, then they should do it secretly so that God will reward them openly. 
Khro also said that many societies have black listed owing to the poor performance, however only few were performing well. 
In this regard, he appealed the CWS to perform well so that CWS will be the bridge in the district.
Further, DC assured to aid the society in various possible ways. 
Vice President USLP, K.Tsilise Sangtam and executive chairman, USSC, Justin Khatomong T also spoke at the launching programme.
Pastor KTBL, Chopongkyu administrated the prayer while associate pastor Youth KTBL, Yotsala pronounced benediction.
It may be mention that the objective of the CWS was to extend help to the needy and to fight for the citizen’s right. The society was formed in the year 2014.
