City Law College organize edn visit to central jail

Final-year students of City Law College, Dimapur, visited the Central Jail, Dimapur, under faculty supervision as part of their academic curriculum.
The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to the criminal justice system beyond classroom learning. Students interacted with inmates and gained first-hand insights into prison life, rehabilitation, and the functioning of correctional institutions.
The experience proved to be eye-opening, helping them understand the human side of law beyond textbooks and highlighting the importance of empathy, justice, and reformative approaches within the legal system. Faculty members noted that such experiential learning helps bridge the gap between theory and practice. Students described the visit as enlightening and impactful, giving them a deeper understanding of the legal system and their future responsibilities as legal professionals.
