City Law College Students’ Union hosts legal awareness programme

DIMAPUR

The City Law College Students’ Union (CLCSU) organised a legal awareness programme on August 16, with Principal District & Sessions Judge, Dimapur, N. Longshithung Ezung, as the chief guest.
In a press release issued by City Law College, judge Ezung addressed the gathering and emphasized the critical role of legal drafting in professional practice. He advised students to develop strong drafting skills and cautioned against the use of shortcuts such as copy-and-paste methods, noting that effective drafting forms the backbone of legal work.
Encouraging the students to explore the breadth of opportunities available in the legal field, judge Ezung highlighted that a law degree opens pathways not only to advocacy but also to careers in judicial services, Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), public prosecution, and other public service roles.
