Christ the King Catholic Church (CKCC), Mukalimi, held a blessing ceremony of the new Church on January 11.
A press release from Fr. Justin Lazami stated that the new Church was blessed by spiritual director, Sumi Catholic Akukuhou Kukhakulu Nagaland, Rev. Fr. Isaac Shikaho. In his speech Shikaho said that a Church has to be a source of blessing and forgiveness and a place where followers of Christ gather to receive Holy Communion and the Word of God.
The Church was inaugurated by OFM Cap, Rev. Fr. Yesudas, who also laid the foundation of the Church on 2016.
The blessing ceremony was chaired by David Kaito Swu and vote of thanks was proposed by Inaxe Timothy Catechist.
Special numbers were also presented by Catechism children and mothers, and benediction was offered by Rev. Fr. Paul Inashe.
