Chang Khulei Setshang (Chang Tribal Council) has resolved to “firmly support” the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) resolution banning any election-related campaign by any party and candidature declaration programme under its jurisdiction.
CKS through its information cell stated that the decision was taken at the meeting of Chang frontal bodies under the initiative of the CKS on September 12, 2022.
The meeting, which deliberated on August 26 ENPO resolution to abstain from any central and State election, resolved to firmly support the ENPO resolution until the ENPO demand for separate State Frontier Nagaland was fulfilled.
CSK further resolved not to allow any electioneering process i.e candidature declaration or campaigns within the Chang jurisdiction.
