CLC NSS Unit, Sunrise Colony Council sign MoU for practical learning

DIMAPUR: The NSS Unit of City Law College (CLC), represented by its Programme Officer Tongpang Imchen, and the Sunrise Colony Council, represented by its chairman N. John Zeliang, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on June 3, 2026, to enable law students to gain real-world practical learning experiences.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. T. Limanochet Jamir, principal, CLC, Odinungshang, GB Sunrise Colony, and Pucakhu Sema, chairman-cum-administrator, CLC.
The agreement focuses on conducting service-oriented and skill-enhancement activities, including workshops, seminars, conferences and extension lectures. Both parties also agreed to facilitate internships, field training, knowledge transfer, capacity building and skill development programmes, while collaborating in joint projects, community outreach initiatives and research activities.
The collaboration aims to strengthen practical exposure and expertise for law students, thereby enhancing their academic learning with hands-on experience and community engagement.
