A clean election seminar cum consultation programme under the theme- “Your Vote Will Rule You” was held on August 30 at the Liangmai Baptist Association Mission Centre, Tening.
According to a DIPR report, resource person of programme, Zeme Baptist Churches Council (ZBCC) executive secretary, Rev. Ezieteilung encouraged the participants to faithfully carry forward the clean election movement. He said clean election movement was one crucial step towards realising the better ethics for the society.
Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Tening, Imliwapang, commissioner secretary (retired), Benjamin Newmai, and Liangmai Baptist Association, executive Secretary, Rev. Kitanwi Chawang also spoke on the importance of clean election movement.
The participants also resolved to create awareness on clean election within their respective jurisdiction.
