Department of Environment Studies, Arts and Science streams, Phek Government College (PGC) organised a field study trip-cum-cleanliness drive at Mt. Kapamodzü.
In a press release, PGC informed that the main objective of the field trip was to study the vegetation and to document plant species in the area. Importance of ecotourism and developing the location into an important tourist destination were discussed. The trip was supervised by assistant professors—Ronald Difoe, Pfüchüpeü Mero and Seyiechonu Kera.
Altogether, 79 students from Arts stream and 16 students from Science stream participated in the field study.
