Quality Peace Club Railway Bazaar organized a cleanliness drive in the colony on March 5, as part of the regular initiatives of the club to ensure that the youth are engaged in maintaining a healthy environment in the colony.
The cleanliness drive was initiated with an objective to create a healthy living environment in and around the locality. Around 20 youth belonging to the club as well as their friends from the colony participated in the cleaning of the drains and footpaths. The youths also put up dustbins and signboards.
Elow Chazu and Supotungla from Peace Channel Movement coordinated the programme where they encouraged the youth to make sure that the cleanliness was maintained in the future. GB of the colony council, Nading applauded the Peace Club initiatives and said that the peace channel movement has been instrumental in making positive changes to the attitude of the young people in the colony.
