CM appoints Medo Yhokha as advisor

State chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, has appointed Medo Yokha, MLA, who recently won the by-election to the 14 Southern Angami-I assembly constituency, as advisor for technical education and elections with immediate effect. The chief minister Rio handed the appointment letter to Yhokha at his office, in presence of deputy chief minister Y Patton, several ministers, NDPP president Chingwang Konyak and state BJP president Temjen Imna Along.

Yhokha has expressed gratitude to chief minister for appointing him as the advisor. He also acknowledged the NDPP leaders led by the party president for the support. 

“I will be committed and will try to emulate and perform my responsibilities up to the expectation of the general public and leaders for the upliftment of the departments,” he said.
