
Nagaland chief minister, Neiphiu Rio expressed pain to learn of the untimely demise of Dietho Pfukha, on August 29, at Dimapur. In a condolence message, Rio said Pfukha was an efficient officer with Air India and was exemplary in carrying out his duties.
“He epitomised a fine gentleman and a responsible officer. Apart from his professional career, he has also made significant contributions to society for the welfare of all sections, especially the weaker section,” he added. Rio said he was a cheerful, friendly person, who would readily assist anyone in need. Rio along with his wife conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family and prayed that God grant them strength to bear the loss and also for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
