DIMAPUR, JUN 19 (NPN): Nagaland chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio has expressed grief over the demise of Dr. N. Moa, describing him as a distinguished medical doctor who dedicated his life to healing and serving the sick without prejudice.
In a condolence message to Dr. Moa’s wife, Dr. Kilemsungla, former member of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Rio said Dr. Moa was well known to him and had served as his late father’s personal doctor and a close friend.
He said the bond shared by the family with the late doctor, and the care and kindness he had shown to his father, would always be remembered.
Describing Dr. Moa as a person of great faith, compassion, selflessness and humility, Rio said he lived a life of purpose and service and had touched the lives of many people.
Rio said that in Dr. Moa’s demise, the Ao community in particular and the Nagas in general had lost a father figure. He added that the late doctor left behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom and healing.
Rio and his family extended their condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that God Almighty grant them strength and solace to endure the loss. He also prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
