CM inaugurates 13 futsal grounds,2 multi-purpose halls across Nagaland

DIMAPUR, AUG 2 (NPN)

Nagaland chief minister, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, on Saturday inaugurated 13 futsal grounds and two multi-purpose halls across the state.
Sharing the update on X, the chief minister stated, “Today marked a day of pride, purpose, and progress as we inaugurated 13 futsal grounds and 2 multi-purpose halls across the State.”
He said the newly inaugurated facilities were more than just physical infrastructure and described them as symbols of the government’s commitment to empowering the youth and advancing sports development. Rio stated that sportspersons from the state were steadily making their mark at both national and international levels, inspiring others to dream bigger. He said the Nagaland Sports Policy was a comprehensive framework that prioritised infrastructure, training, athlete nutrition and welfare, talent scouting, and career development.
Expressing belief in the potential and aspirations of the youth, Rio said the new facilities were valuable community assets. He urged the public to make the best use of the infrastructure to nurture talent, promote fitness, and build a stronger, healthier future.
